My background covers over 15 years experience in the IT and staffing services industry. As a Marketing Representative in the National Accounts Division of the IBM Corporation, I worked as a liaison with fortune 500 firms in the Orange County area. The Products I marketed included PC workstation systems, mid-range and mainframe hardware equipment, software licensing and consulting business services. I was successful in attaining over $10 million in sales over a two year period with both new and established accounts.

Following my successful career at IBM, I joined Space Applications Corporation, working on premises of the U.S.A.F. Space and Missile Systems Center, headquartered in El Segundo, California. I provided business and Information Technology process consulting and management support to a 1500 man division. I worked directly with the base Commander and Division Colonel to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and cost reduction in their Information Technology and business processes used to build and maintain the United States global satellite network. I directed and facilitated weekly management forums with the Division Colonel and his management team.

I joined the IT Staffing industry as an Major Account Manager for a $1.5 billion IT Staffing firm where I successfully developed key accounts in the Western Region of the US. In that role I initiated and developed a quarterly IT Executive Roundtable consisting of the IT Directors of multi-national firms to address the need for peer information sharing on technology trends in the business community and staffing needs to accomplish critical projects.

Later as a National Accounts Manager, for an IT Telecom specialty staffing service, I led this team to a 50% business growth of IT staffing services and attained record sales levels.

I have now joined The Sterling Group, as a Senior Search Consultant, and specialize in providing career consulting to professionals across Orange County, northern San Diego and southern Los Angeles counties, and search services for client firms seeking to enhance their technical staff with top technical talent.

I have a BS degree in Economics and Psychology from Illinois State University, and an MBA, Masters of Business Administration, degree from Pepperdine University. I am actively involved as a member of Saddleback Community Church, Lake Forest.
