This newly created position will have the overall responsibility for analysis, development, implementation, ongoing aintenance and support of software company’s core ERP systems. They will lead a team of functional analysts focused in specific business aspects of the company as well as for developers working within the ERP application. Reports to Vice-President – Systems and Programming.

Must have qualifications:

• Extensive IT management experience including managing large groups (10+) and multiple silos simultaneously.
• Direct experience supporting JDEdwards One-World (EnterpriseOne) and Supply Chain software, including leading supply chain business process implementations.
• Experience with systems roll-outs, business process re-engineering, facilitating change mgmt, conducting user training and providing systems support.
• Experience in evaluating, negotiating and managing systems integrators, software vendors and contractors.
• Hands on experience implementing full JDE One-World ERP in large scale, multi-site environments.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Computer Science (or equivalent experience) and at least 10 years of ERP application implementation and development experience.

Compensation: Base Salary Range $95-110K with 10-20% bonus and excellent benefits.

Established leader in the foodservice industry that has demonstrated over the years a commitment to their customers’ growth and profit goals by adding value to their products is seeking a Manager, Production Control. This newly created position will be responsible for the Production Control environment to include design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance supporting multiple applications across AIX, Linux, OS/400, and Windows operating systems. More specifically, this position would supervise/lead the effort for overseeing and developing controls, policies, documentation, procedures, and software toolsets in support of a best practices IT Change Management and Version Control initiative. Reports to Director, IT Support Services.

Must have qualifications:

• Thorough understanding of production control, QA, version control, job scheduling, and customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in Production Control/Change Management.
• Be process and procedure oriented.
• Demonstrated project management skills and coordination capabilities in multi=disciplined environment.
• Ability to navigate in an AIX, Linux, OS/400, and Windows environment with a general understanding of system commands.

Would like to have:

• Oracle/JDE CNC administration experience.

Compensation: Base Salary Range $120-130K with 15-30% bonus and excellent benefits.

This newly created position will have overall responsibility and accountability for the architecture, design, development, release, and maintenance of data warehouse and business intelligence data, processes, systems and services across all company business functions. Will work closely with all constituents to identify and maximize opportunities for using data warehouse systems to improve business processes, promote the strategic use of IT, and enable analysts and management to use these systems for improved, timely decision making. Further, provide the leadership, vision, and direction for data warehouse and business knowledge systems, ensuring support of the company’s business objectives and requirements. Reports to VP, Applications Development.

Must have qualifications:

• Extensive IT experience, including business process design, development, implementation and maintenance of multiple business systems.
• Demonstrated project management experience involving multiple projects.
• Extensive warehouse architecture, design and development experience.
• Well grounded and demonstrated management experience.
• Experience in strategic planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of integrated online relational database systems across multiple hardware and software platforms.
• Experience in deploying an Enterprise Portal and utilizing BI tools.

Rapidly growing media company ($100MM) based in Los Angeles that operates online media, community, and e-commerce sites in vertical markets. The company also develops and licenses internet software and social media applications seeks VP, IT. They desire a CTO or CIO from a smaller company in the internet/online media space. The technical environment of being Linux does limit the talent pool. Ideal profile: a Technology Generalist would be better than someone with specialty in one specific area as responsible for application development, operations and network/telephony (3 direct report managers with 15-20 indirect reports). They do a lot of in-house application development but they do have some off the shelf software also.

Must be able to manage a very diverse technical environment, good understanding of security issues with an internet company, understanding of ”Cloud infrastructure”. Will wear multiple hats. Must be able to move large initiatives and own them to the end. Must have experience with Change Management, Network and Application scalability, Infrastructure responsibility (telephone, data services, applications, network, operations), Must be a really strong problem solver at a micro level, Must be able to drive solutions.

Intangibles: Emphasis on Network Infrastructure/IT Operations background professional, someone who will “own it”. Background in Linux/Unix from an Internet or Online Media culture.

Environment: 80% Linux Servers (over 100 in number), 20% Solaris Servers (maybe 15) , The Data Center/NOC is off site, 6 Linux Admins.

Rapidly growing media company ($100MM) based in Los Angeles that operates online media, community, and e-commerce sites in vertical markets. The company also develops and licenses internet software and social media applications seeks VP, IT. They desire a CTO or CIO from a smaller company in the internet/online media space. Currently looking for a Senior LINUX/UNIX Administrator to join their expert team of engineers in this fast paced technically challenging environment. The ideal candidate will be looking for a challenging, fast paced environment, and have significant experience in supporting complex web based multi-platform LINUX/UNIX environment. Sun experience is extremely helpful but some training may be available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the migration of a variety of LAMP web environments.
• Must have some MySQL administration background and excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• General networking and or development experience is helpful.
• Must have experience in Production, Development, and/or Staging environments; including daily hands-on operation setup, configuration, and general maintenance and extensive troubleshooting.
• Administer the server hardware, LINUX/UNIX operating system and selected system applications.
• Responsible for assisting the LINUX server users, including Oracle Database Administrators, or SQL Developers, QA, etc., with application specific usage, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Respond to any service outage that affects the availability of the production website.
• Responsible for daily website usage and availability.
• Must be available for on-call rotation.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Red Hat LINUX operating systems other flavors helpful, Sun Solaris experience very helpful.
• Perl, PHP and shell scripting experience.
• Ability to administer and troubleshoot a wide variety of custom LAMP configurations.
• Knowledge of System Monitoring: MRTG, SNMP, Cacti, Nagios, SiteScope.
• Working knowledge of Dell Hardware, 14xx, 18xx, 28xx series.
• Working knowledge of MySQL, Oracle knowledge a plus.
• Knowledge in BIND 9 and Apache and Postfix or Sendmail.
